Architects / Builders / Contractors

CIMA and its Producer Members work closely with industry professionals to provide information and the best cellulose insulation products available on the market today. This section of the website is intended as a resource for architects, builders, contractors, building officials and other construction industry professionals.

Architects

Architects are leading-edge influencers for building products used by industry professionals and consumers. It is critical that architects have access to the latest and most accurate information about building products. This is particularly true of energy-efficient products like insulation that are so important to homeowners and businesses.

Specifying cellulose insulation in your construction plans introduces a wealth of benefits to builders and consumers including more energy efficiency, better sound control, improved fire safety and an overall improved living environment. It also helps to benefit the environment as cellulose insulation is truly one of the most environmentally sound building materials available.

Builders / Contractors

The market for home insulation is extremely competitive. As a builder or insulation contractor, you need every advantage available to help you increase your sales and profits. Cellulose insulation provides you, the builder or contractor, proven advantages in product performance and environmental benefits, advantages that you can translate into greater satisfaction and living environments for your customers, and increased sales and profitability for your company.

At CIMA, we understand that consumers make buying decisions based on many factors, including price, performance and, in more and more cases, on the energy efficiency and environmental impact of the product.

To help you address the different reasons used in choosing an insulation product, we have developed a set of marketing materials around the following theme:

The Performance Choice
The Environmental Choice
The Right Choice

In addition, two new marketing initiatives were launched in 2008 to help inform and educate consumers about cellulose insulation. CIMA developed marketing materials for use by Builders, Contractors and Installers, highlighting the link between the performance and environmental benefits of cellulose insulation. These materials feature the tag line, “The Performance Choice, The Environmental Choice, The Right Choice,” and are available online for download and customization here.

Whether you are an architect, builder, insulation contractor or other building industry professional CIMA is here to help. Contact Us whenever we can be of assistance.

The Greenest of the Green Campaign

CIMA also launched its Greenest Of The Green campaign to generate more awareness for the unique benefits of cellulose insulation and the work our manufacturers do to benefit the environment and their communities. This campaign focuses on manufacturers donating material and installation services to charitable organizations, as well as on providing education about the benefits of cellulose insulation in saving money and helping the environment.

Supporting this initiative is a new blog (Greenest Insulation) where stories are published regularly about cellulose insulation, environmental issues and energy related trends. It’s also an open forum for people to ask advice and where they can submit their recommendations and comments on other green products.

CIMA supports the Greenest of the Green campaign through a variety of other initiative and via press releases and other updates about activities of the organization and its members. We invite industry professionals to join in the effort by submitting comments or guest articles for use on the blog.
